The Pepper Pot Club
Subject to the Terms and Conditions set forth below (“Terms and Conditions”), members of The Pepper Pot Club (“Members”) can earn points in connection with the purchase of qualifying products at The Pepper Pot store, and on thepepperpot.co website. These Terms and Conditions govern membership in The Pepper Pot Club.
I. Membership
1. Free Membership.
No purchase is necessary to obtain membership or enroll in The Pepper Pot Club rewards program ("The Pepper Pot Club" or the "Program").
2. Eligibility.
You must be age 13 years or older and a resident of the United States to be eligible for membership. Membership in the Program is limited to individuals only and is limited to one account per individual. Persons under the age of 18 ("Minors") must obtain their parents' or legal guardians' consent prior to participation. By enrolling in The Pepper Pot Club, you agree (or, if you are a Minor, your parent or legal guardian agrees) to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. To enroll in the Program, you must provide your first name, last name, email address, state of residence, and optional phone number. The Program is void where prohibited by law.
3. Opening an Account.
A.) In-Store. You may enroll to become a member of The Pepper Pot Club in person at The Pepper Pot store located in Barrington, IL. Please see a team member for assistance.
B.) Online. You may also apply to become a Member of the Program by visiting www.thepepperpot.co/rewards (the "Website" or "Online"). In order to enroll on the Website, visit our homepage and start by clicking the green “Pepper Points” tab located in the lower right corner of the website.
4. Membership Account.
Accounts are issued in-store at the time the customer enrolls in the Program. If Member surrenders their Account and creates a new one, at The Pepper Pot's sole discretion, Member may be issued points from their other accounts (including negative balances) to the new Account. To ensure proper handling of Accounts, lost or stolen Accounts must be reported to a Pepper Pot associate at The Pepper Pot store or by contacting customer service at https://thepepperpot.co/pages/contact. The Account remains the property of The Pepper Pot and must be surrendered upon request. No credit or cash will be given for unused points. Program Member Accounts are not transferable and are not for sale, resale, or barter. The Pepper Pot is not responsible for use of a Member's Account or redemption of a Member's points in the event the Member's Account is stolen, and the Account is used, or the points are redeemed prior to the Member informing The Pepper Pot that the Member's Account has been stolen.
5. Member Information (including Personal Information) and Privacy Policy.
As part of the registration process, you need to register as a user of the Website and select a password. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your password and Online Account, and that you are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or Online Account or any other breach of security, and to log out at the end of each session. The Pepper Pot will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you notify us that you have lost access to your Online Account, we may terminate your Online Account as prescribed in these Terms and Conditions.
The information you provide as a Member of the Program will be handled according to The Pepper Pot's Privacy Policy. If a Member’s Account has had no purchase activity for a period of time (such period of time to be determined in The Pepper Pot’s sole discretion), The Pepper Pot reserves the right to cancel the Member’s Account. At such time of cancellation, any accumulated points/rewards balance will expire. If a Member’s Account is terminated for inactivity, the Member may re-enroll in the Program, but previously earned points/rewards will not be credited, and the Member will start with a balance of zero points/rewards.
6. Online Account Maintenance.
Once a Member is a registered user of the Website, Members may view a summary of their Account on the Website. After logging onto the Website, simply click on the green "Pepper Points" tab in the lower right corner of the Website homepage and review any information, as needed. Members may also view their The Pepper Pot Club points balance, and transaction history on the Website by logging in and clicking on the "Order History" link in the footer of the Website.
7. Member Cancellation.
Members may cancel their The Pepper Pot Club Account at any time by contacting Customer Service at 224-385-3481 or online at https://thepepperpot.co/pages/contact. Upon cancellation, any unused points accrued in the Member's Account will be forfeited and cannot be redeemed or transferred.
8. The Pepper Pot’s storefront on TikTok Shop.
In these Terms and Conditions, The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop refers to the sale of The Pepper Pot products within The Pepper Pot storefront on TikTok Shop on the TikTok app.
9. The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode).
In these Terms and Conditions, The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode) refers to the sale of The Pepper Pot products via Google AI surfaces.
II. Earning Points
1. General.
Members can earn The Pepper Pot Club points on all qualifying products, classes and events at all The Pepper Pot store in Barrington, IL and on qualifying online purchases at thepepperpot.co but in each case excluding purchases made on The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop, The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode) purchases, gift cards, taxes, tips, and charitable donations. Members can also earn The Pepper Pot is not responsible for points not awarded due to incorrect, unmatched, duplicate, or incomplete account information, or if enrollment in The Pepper Pot Club Account was not successfully completed. The Program and associated points and benefits are intended for personal use only. The sale or barter of The Pepper Pot Club points or benefits is prohibited. Any personal shoppers or individuals acting on behalf of third-party delivery, fulfillment and/or shopping services may not use their own Account in connection with orders placed by others. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the The Pepper Pot Club at any time with or without notice, or terminate any membership at any time with or without notice for any reason, including for fraud, abuse, conduct inconsistent with this policy and/or any other The Pepper Pot policies, third-party order fulfillment or delivery policies, for violation of any local, state, or federal laws or ordinances, or for use other than in connection with bona fide orders you personally place.
2. Earning Rate.
The Pepper Pot Club. Members earn one (1) point for every one dollar ($1) spent when they purchase: (i) qualifying needlepoint products, or Mahjong Open Play at The Pepper Pot store in Barrington, IL when they present their The Pepper Pot Club email address or (ii) qualifying products Online if they are logged into the Website and have linked their Member Email with their Online Account, Purchases made on The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop or The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode) are not eligible to earn The Pepper Pot Club points. Points are rounded down. For example, if a Member spends $19.99, the Member will receive 19 points. Calculation is as follows: $19.99 x 1 point per dollar = 19.99 points, which is rounded down to 19 points.
3. Gift Cards.
When a Member makes a qualifying purchase in-store or online in the United States using a gift card, the Member will earn points on the amount of the purchase. (For the avoidance of doubt, Members do not earn points on the purchase of gift cards.) The Pepper Pot gift cards cannot be redeemed at The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop, or The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode) purchases.
4. Timing of the Addition of Points to Accounts.
In-Store Purchases at The Pepper Pot. The Pepper Pot Club points earned on the in-store purchase of qualifying products, classes or events will be added to the Member's account immediately at the time of in-store purchase of the qualifying products, classes or events subject to the The Pepper Pot Club Credit Card and Mastercard® provisions, below. For all in-store purchases, the amount of points in a Member's account, including points earned on a recent purchase, will be reflected on the Member's receipt after a transaction, unless there is a point-of-sale or system unavailability or other technical difficulty that limits the ability to reflect points on the receipt.
Online Purchases. The Pepper Pot Club Member points, Platinum Member points, and Diamond Member points earned on the online purchase of qualifying products, classes or events will be credited within 72 hours after shipping. The timing for issuing points is subject to change.
Points Disputes. If you believe that a purchase should have resulted in the addition of points to your points balance, and such points are not reflected in the points balance, please contact The Pepper Pot within fourteen (14) days of the applicable purchase.
5. Exclusions.
The Pepper Pot Club points that Members may earn The Pepper Pot Club points only on the purchase price of: (i) qualifying products, classes or events at The Pepper Pot store in Barrington, IL when they present the email address associated with their Member account (or other valid identification from which the Member's Account information can be determined by the store associate), or (ii) qualifying products Online, if they are logged onto the Website and have linked Member Email with their Online Account. Calculation of The Pepper Pot Club points is based on the price of the purchased product only and excludes payment by the Member for food, wine, cocktails and other beverages, Tile by Tile, First Stitch, Mahjong 101, Mahjong 102, private parties, special events, tips and gratuities, shipping charges, charitable products and donations, and all taxes, including without limitation, federal, state, and local taxes or use taxes. The Pepper Pot Club points will not be earned on any discounts or other credits offered in connection with a product, class or event. For example, if a product that is normally $100 is on sale for $75, a Member will only earn points on the purchase price of $75. Purchases of gift cards, redemption of merchandise vouchers, and any type of price adjustments, including merchandise returns, are not eligible for points. All purchases made: (i) outside the United States, (ii) by a Member prior to such member joining the Program, (iii) without applying the Member ID to the transaction made in-store (or with other valid identification from which the Member's Account information can be determined by the store associate), (iv) Online without a Member being logged into the Website with the Member's ID linked to the Member's Online Account, (v) on The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop, or (vi) The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode) purchases are not eligible for Program credit.
6. Returns
Points earned for a purchase that is then the subject of a return, refund, returned check due to non-sufficient funds, or other credit will be deducted from the Member's Account in an amount equal to the points earned for the original transaction, including bonus points. If a Member's point balance has been depleted before a return is made and processed, the Member’s Account may go negative in points to account for the deduction of points for the returned or refunded product that earned the points.
7. Bonus Point Promotions.
From time to time, The Pepper Pot may run certain bonus point promotions. Under bonus point promotions, Members can earn additional or "bonus points" in connection with the purchase of certain products at The Pepper Pot store or in connection with shopping days where a Member earns a set amount of bonus points for shopping that day, activation required. When these products are purchased by a Member, the Member will earn bonus points on each product, as specified in the offer. Bonus point promotions exclude purchases made at The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop, The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode) purchases, or any exclusions set forth in the offer. Bonus point promotions are subject to the terms and conditions of the offer and may be offered at any time in The Pepper Pot's sole discretion. Members may also earn additional points on non-purchase activities in accordance with the terms published by The Pepper Pot. From time to time, The Pepper Pot may offer Members the chance to win various prizes, including points. There is NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO PLAY OR TO WIN. Rules and restrictions will apply to such promotions.
III. Redeeming Points
1. General.
Points earned by a Member may be redeemed: (i) for products or discounts on products at The Pepper Pot in the United States, provided a Member is using a minimum of 100 points, (ii) for products or discounts on products Online at thepepperpot.co. In addition to the other limitations below, points cannot be redeemed on gift card purchases, tips, shipping and handling charges, charitable donations, taxes, on The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop, or The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode) purchases.
2. Points Towards Products.
Members can use their points to reduce the purchase price of a qualifying product and/or qualifying class or event based on the following scale (point values in excess of the below chart values can be found online in the Member’s Account dashboard, based upon the Member’s current points balance):
- 10 Mahjong Open Play Visits = One Free Mahjong Open Play
- 500 points = $5 off
- 1000 points = $20.00 off
Points can be redeemed, subject to the limitations outlined below, in any combination of the point and increment amounts set forth above. For example, if a Member wants to redeem 500 points, the transaction will allow the Member to redeem 500 points and receive $5 off the transaction. Redemption of points both in-store and online towards purchases of products is subject to product availability.
3. Redemption In-Store.
To redeem points towards a purchase of needlepoint items or Mahjong Open Play at The Pepper Pot store in Barrington, IL, Members must indicate that points are being redeemed prior to making the purchase and must present at the time of purchase their The Pepper Pot Club member email address (or other valid physical identification from which the Member's Account information can be determined by the store associate). A Member may redeem up to 1,000 points in a single in-store purchase. Any remaining points can be redeemed in a future purchase.
4. Redemption Online.
Members may redeem their points on any thepepperpot.co purchase of needlepoint items or Mahjong Open Play in the United States. To redeem points through an online purchase, a Member must be a registered user of the Website with their email address linked to their online account. Points may only be redeemed on the purchase price of qualifying products and cannot be redeemed on gift card purchases, tips, shipping and handling charges, charitable donations, taxes, The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop purchases, or The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode) purchases. A max of one reward points discount code may be used in a single transaction. Codes cannot be combined or redeemed with any other code or special offer. Any remaining points can be redeemed in a future purchase.
5. Gift cards.
Points cannot be used towards the purchase of gift cards.
6. In-Store events.
Points cannot be used towards the purchase of private parties, special events, Monday Mahjong 101, Guided Play, Table Bookings, Mahjong 101, Mahjong 102, Tile by Tile, or First Stitch.
7. The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop.
Points cannot be earned or used towards purchases made at The Pepper Pot on TikTok Shop.
8. The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode)
Points cannot be earned or used towards The Pepper Pot on Google AI surfaces (including Gemini and AI Mode) purchases.
9. Exclusions.
Points accumulated on different Accounts of different Members may not be combined or aggregated to make purchases of products and services or for any other reason. Points earned in a transaction cannot be redeemed in the same transaction.
IV. General
1. Limitation of Liability. YOU UNDERSTAND, ACKNOWLEDGE, AND AGREE THAT YOUR PARTICIPATION AND USE OF THIS PROGRAM IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PROVIDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, The Pepper Pot SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST REVENUES OR LOST PROFITS, IN ANY WAY DUE TO, RESULTING FROM, OR ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PROGRAM.
2. Miscellaneous. By joining the Pepper Pot Club Program, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions set forth herein. Except where prohibited by law, The Pepper Pot reserves the right to cancel, modify, or restrict The Pepper Pot Club or any aspect of the Program, including, without limitation, the point conversion ratio and the point expiration policy at any time. Any changes can be made without advance notice. The Pepper Pot may make these changes even though such changes may affect the Member's ability to use points already accumulated. Members are responsible for remaining knowledgeable about the Terms and Conditions. A Member's points balance, as reflected in The Pepper Pot's records, shall be deemed correct. The Pepper Pot reserves the right to determine the amount of points in any Member's Account based on The Pepper Pot's internal records related to such Member's Account. In the event of an inconsistency between the amount accrued in a Member's Account as stated on any Member's receipt and The Pepper Pot's internal records, The Pepper Pot's internal records will control. The Pepper Pot assumes no responsibility for errors caused by incorrect Member information. A Member's right to transfer points earned or granted under the Program is strictly limited. The sale of points is prohibited and may result in the confiscation or cancellation of such Member's points as well as suspension or termination of your membership, which in each case shall be final and conclusive. The Pepper Pot may revoke any Member's membership in The Pepper Pot Club at any time if such Member engages in abuse of the Program or fails to follow the Terms and Conditions of the Program. Fraud or abuse relating to the accrual of points or redemption of rewards may result in revocation of membership in the Program and may affect a Member's eligibility for participation in any other The Pepper Pot Club program. The Pepper Pot Club points are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. No interest is paid on points and/or rewards subject to applicable laws. Point and/or rewards balances are not your property, and you have no property rights or other legal interest in the points and/or rewards. All points and/or rewards remain the sole property of The Pepper Pot until redeemed. Your points and/or rewards balance or any part of it is not transferable, cannot be brokered, bartered, or sold, and cannot be divided as part of a settlement, legal proceeding, or death, and cannot be combined with points and/or rewards of any other participant in the Program. If required under applicable state unclaimed property laws due to non-redemption of your points and/or rewards balance over time, we may transfer, report, or convey your points and/or rewards balance to a state agency. You should therefore redeem your points and/or rewards balance on a regular, continuing basis. We take no responsibility for any loss of points and/or rewards balances due to unclaimed property laws.
3. Choice of Law and Dispute Resolution. The interpretation and application of the Program's Terms and Conditions are at the sole discretion and determination of The Pepper Pot. Any action arising out of the Program, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms and Conditions, shall be brought before the federal or local courts presiding in Illinois, United States, whichever is appropriate, and to whose jurisdiction you consent in such an action. The applicable law in such an action will be the law of the state of New York, applicable to contracts entered into and to be wholly performed therein without regard to conflict of laws or choice of law principles
