New to Needlepoint?

It begins more simply than you think.
Where Every Stitch Begins

A canvas. A needle. A rhythm you settle into quickly.
What looks intricate from a distance is steady up close.
You don’t need experience to begin. Each design is selected to make the first stitch feel natural.
Chapter One

Start with what draws you in.
Choose a design you’re naturally pulled toward. When you’re new, simplicity isn’t about less detail, it’s about clarity. Clean lines. Balanced scale. Room to breathe.
Chapter Two

Thread choice shapes the final look.
We’ll help you select fibers that complement the design, balance texture, and feel good in hand.
If you’re unsure, start with our curated thread suggestions or beginner kits designed to remove the guesswork.
Chapter Three

Most projects begin with a classic tent stitch.
It’s steady, versatile, and creates the foundation for nearly everything you’ll make. From there, you can keep it simple or explore more decorative stitches over time.
There is no rush here. One stitch at a time is enough.
Begin Here

Whether you’re starting fresh or returning after years away, this is a craft meant to be enjoyed, not perfected.
